| Nope. They're just set up as a basic checking account and cash (asset) account. - The Merg -- The Merg's Freeware Co. http://www.themerg.net http://www.themerg.com Today's problems don't worry me, I haven't solved yesterday's yet. I am using MS Money for PPC to synch with Money 2003 on my desktop. Everything seems to work fine, except one small issue that I think might just be a limitation, but I'm not sure. On my desktop I can do a split withdrawl with part of the withdrawl going to an expense category and the other part being a transfer to a different account. As an example, withdrawing money from an ATM in which I am charged a fee. I withdraw $20 and my total is $21.50 due to the ATM fee. In my withdraw, I do a split with $1.50 being expensed to Bank Charges. I then have the 2nd part of the split be a transfer of the $20 to my Cash account. On the PPC, I cannot seem to do this. When you I create the split transaction, I cannot find a way to perform a transfer from within the split. If I view prior transaction that was created on the desktop, the splits show the transfer as being "Xfer to: Cash Account", but I cannot seem to replicate that on the PPC. Does anyone know if this is a limitation or am I missing something (besides my sanity)? Thanks, The Merg -- The Merg's Freeware Co. http://www.themerg.net http://www.themerg.com Today's problems don't worry me, I haven't solved yesterday's yet. |
