| See http://www.bollar.com/msmoney/#Q14 for some insight that might help. You don't say whether these purchases are coming from your money or your employers. If yours, you should be making a transfer to the 401K cash account ("(contributiutions)") from the Before Tax tab of each of your paychecks, then the investment purchases can be made directly from the cash account. | When I enter new buys of stock purchases made thru my company 401K program, also entered is an offsetting equal amount in an account named "(contributions)" which I did not set up. The net result is that the new total of the overall account does not change in the progeam even though I have made new purchases. What am I doing wrong? Please help. Steve |
