Can't be done AFAIK. Could I interest you in the Portfolio screen?
Select or customize a view to include the Cost Basis Column. You can
customize, save, and print various versions.

You might notice a Price Appreciation and Gain column that you can
select. The difference is that Gain includes dividends.

Also, the Taxes-> CaptialGainsEstimator may be useful to you in
helping decide what you might want to sell.

Now that could to be a problem. You don't want to enter the
individual Buy transactions, nor do you want to make a single
composite Buy that reflects the basis of your holdings? If that is
the case, how would Money know your basis? Perhaps you mean that you
don't want to enter some kind of fake buy to supersede your last
real buy.

Default Cost basis Money 2003

I want to not only record the cost value of shares and
bonds in the "Portfolio" view of Money 2003 (which I am
doing successfully), I also want the "What I have" part of
the Reports section ("Net worth" and "Account balances")
to show the investments on a cost value basis. At the
moment it values shares on the basis of the last parcel
bought and then reflects the value difference as an
increase or decrease in net worth.
I know I could update prices manually for the shares and
just put in the average cost of all the parcels bought of
a particular share, but I don't want to have to do this.

Can anyone help?
