I had received a corrupted file message so I ran Salv.exe (phase 2), and it said it had corrected some broken records so I read the log and it listed six errors as being corrected. After receiving my statements later, I attempted to balance the account and I could not mark any of the entries as reconciled. I could do nothing with them. I deleted them, assuming that MSN Bill Pay would update my register but it did not. I just re-entered the payments and everything was then ok. I have no idea why this happened, but have you tried to delete them. | Re: Money 2004 - Cannot edit a transaction By any chance was it a paycheck transaction? If so, this happens to me nearly every month when my paycheck is automatically downloaded by the bank. My solution has been to immediately stop money and go to Programs/Run and enter "msmoney-s". This has worked every time. I've never had problems with a corrupt file into Money2004, but this is the second type of corruption I've had in my file since upgrading to 2004. | Money 2004 - Cannot edit a transaction I download transactions from my bank every day and I've never had any problem. However, there is this one transaction that I recently downloaded that Money doesn't allow me to edit!!!?!?!?!? I cannot edit the fields, nothing happens when I double click in it, etc. All other transactions are fine except for this particular one. I ran the salvage utility but it did not fix the problem. Anybody has any idea what I can do? -J |
