When you enter the loan payment for the higher, Money should say something to the effect that the splits do to match. Edit the split to raise the amount of the principle. |

| Re: recording asset loan extra payments You create a loan account and setup a loan payment. Then you edit the splits of the loan payment and add a line for an extra Principal Transfer (that's the "category") of the $1.02.
