| Somehow I doubt that your database increased that much; however, by design databases do increase in size when you change/add data or structure. Try one of these methods to fix it. First, copy the MS Money shortcut that you use to open the program to your desktop. Right-click it and go to properties. In the target field, add a -s to the end of the line so it looks something like this: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Money\System\msmoney.exe" -s Make sure Money is closed, then click on the shortcut. The program will attempt to repair and compress the LAST FILE OPENED IN THE PROGRAM. If this doesn't work, search the MS Money knowledgebase for instructions on repairing data files. That should reduce the size of your file. - quote - > -----Original Message----- > Today i did some reassigning of "unassigned" data, changed some categories > and suddenly the size of the mny database grew to over 2 gigabytes, im sure > it wasnt that big b4. could have been a couple of megs at the most so > something has gone terribly wrong, what can i do? > . |
