| Investment cash account? Can be balanced. Non-retirement Investment Account? Cannot be balanced. Retirement Investment Account? Can be "balanced" by the "Update retirement account." Not balancing is probably a better option. | Speaking of balancing, am I correct in thinking there is no way to reconcile an investment account in 2003? None of the normal "balance this account" options appear on the left. -sdl- "Kevin Campbell" <kcampbel[at]nospam.midmaine.com> wrote in message news:OZj0fmtRDHA.2196[at]TK2MSFTNGP11.phx.gbl... - quote - > If you use the balancing wizard then you can just click in the cleared > column to mark the item. > -- > Regards, > Kevin Campbell > "Damaeus" <no-mail[at]hotmail.invalid.net> wrote in message > news:23eqgvg4jhqjv7hm6ts5bpu0tea3rj61sc[at]4ax.com... > > In news:microsoft.public.money, "gb" <gb1[at]yahoo.com> posted on Sun, 8 > > Jun 2003 22:14:39 -0700: > > The only thing I don't like is that there seems to be no quick way > > to mark an item as cleared in MS Money. | Ctrl+M toggles Cleared. Ctrl+Shift+M toggles Reconciled. | If you use the balancing wizard then you can just click in the cleared column to mark the item. -- Regards, Kevin Campbell "Damaeus" <no-mail[at]hotmail.invalid.net> wrote in message news:23eqgvg4jhqjv7hm6ts5bpu0tea3rj61sc[at]4ax.com... - quote - > In news:microsoft.public.money, "gb" <gb1[at]yahoo.com> posted on Sun, 8 > Jun 2003 22:14:39 -0700: > The only thing I don't like is that there seems to be no quick way > to mark an item as cleared in MS Money. I love MS Money 2003. I had 2002, but I lost the disc, then found> to migrate to quicken. > Money has to be the biggest ... in the microsoft product > line. it after I upgraded to 2003 with a free trial. I now have four days before my trial expires, so I'll be purchasing something. I was hoping 2004 would be released in time, but it looks like it won't be. And if it is, hopefully they'll have some kind of extra cheap upgrade for users who can prove they bought their 2003 version 30 days or less before the 2004 release. Anyway, I have had no problems at all with Money 2003. I'm using the trial of the Deluxe version, but the Standard version has all I need, so I'll be purchasing that one. That said, I don't use the online connection to download statements because I know I'll end up deleting duplicate entries and all that crap. I'd just as soon print out my online statement, then run through and click on items that cleared during that statement. The only thing I don't like is that there seems to be no quick way to mark an item as cleared in MS Money. I always have to navigate the context menu for each, individual item. Is there a hotkey I can use to do this more quickly? Thanks, Damaeus |
