This is what I assumed. I started deleting transactions and bills that fell> implies that there's probably a transaction or bill dated the 15th or later > that is causing the problem. on the 15th, including my salary but I've deleted everything now and it still fails. Nothing at all in the calendar. No accounts left. No transactions left. I create one new account and one bill and the Cash Forecast still fails. It does work on a brand new file though. I did mess around with an advanced budget a few months ago and then reverted back to the Savings and Spending one they promote. I have a sneaking suspician this is the root cause. - quote - > Did you happen to do a download from one of your Financial Institutions just

I haven't checked my older backups yet. | If it only fails when you system date is set to Dec 15th or later, then that implies that there's probably a transaction or bill dated the 15th or later that is causing the problem. Have you looked at the Bills Calendar to see if there is something listed on the 15th or later that may be the source of this problem? Did you happen to do a download from one of your Financial Institutions just prior to this problem occuring where one of those downloaded transactions is dated the 15th or later? If you cannot identify the specific transaction so that you can edit/correct it or remove it, you may need to either work from a backup copy of your Money file prior to this problem or go through the process of export and import into a new file. | Mike, does your Cash Flow Forecast work fine if you set your system clock back to Sunday 14th December the same as mine? If this is the case, it must be a bug with something we have in common. Anyone else seen this issue? - quote - > I have problems with the same date. Apparently my file is corrupted > beyond repair as of Dec 15th.I also have years of transactions. The only reason I updated was the online quotes of 2003 expired. Since last March I've reinstalled about 6 times. Mike |

| I hadn't tried the Remove All Bills feature - not sure how I missed it - but I just tried it on the copy I have here at work and it didn't help. What a great bug. I've wasted more than a whole day getting to this stage. Makes me really want to switch applications after many years of swearing by it. - quote - > I would also try the Remove All Bills Data feature on a copy of your > file. |

Before proceeding, make an extra copy or backup of your file in case you want to undo something. The problem will be that if you remove all bills, you will probably want to add at least some of your bills back. This can be done manually with the aid of the reports that you print out before removing the bills. A technique that could help simplify re-entering your bills afterward would be to go your register and selecting a representative instance of your past bill and selecting "Make Recurring" (Ctrl+E). This would be especially helpful if the bill is complex, such as involving a split. |

| I saw that thread and tried everything in it. With my copy of my database, I've tried deleting every account and every recurring transaction and every payee and everything else I could find. The database is empty with one brand new account and it still won't display the cash forecast. If I revert back to Sunday just gone on the system clock, everything works fine with all my test files and my original database. I'll try an older backup tonight. Thanks again for all suggestions. - quote - |

| Thanks for the suggestion but I've tried both of those. That was step 14 that I forgot to mention. I've tried a million things. - quote - > Try making a repaired version of your file with > File-> RepairMoneyFile-> StandardFileRepair level 2 and if needed also > do File-> RepairMoneyFile-> StandardFileRepair level 1. |

| I'm at my wits end. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have an extensive Money Plus Deluxe database and rely on the Cash Flow Forecast to ensure accounts have enough cash to cover bills. After this weekend, my Cash Flow Forecast stopped working. I hadn't actually changed anything. If I set the computer date back to the 14th Dec, it works fine. Any date from the 15th onwards and the Cash Flow Forecast fails. The software is fully licensed and activated although it's not activated on the second computer I tested the same file on. Things I've tried so far include 1. Same file on different computer - fails 2. A new file - works fine 3. Deleting all recurring bills one by one - painful 4. Deleting all accounts one by one - painful 5. Deleting all Payees one by one - extremely painful 6. Deleting all custom categories 7. Deleting and recreating the budget 8. Switching to Essential Budget 9. Switching back to Savings and Debt budget 10. Switching to an Advanced Budget 11. Reverting back through the previous ten backups 12. Clearing the Debt Planner 13. Emptying the temp folder 14. Searching on this forum and trying every solution I could find Something is wrong with my database and the magic date 15th Dec 2008 triggers the problem. Recreating the file is not an option. There is over 5 years of data. |
