I removed a couple of the modules dealing with investment performance
and Money is now behaving properly, including not prompting me every
time to activate the software. Speed is now what I expect (as it once
performed).

Thanks, Dick

I updated and rebooted my computer. Money now launches faster but
still probably 10 seconds slower than normal. Incidentally, when I
said it was very slow to start I meant that I double-click my shortcut
and nothing happens for a minute or two (making me think I didn't
double-click). I still have the continuous "asking me to activate my
installation".

I'll try this next.

Yes, though I am very reluctant to do it.
Thanks

Have you updated Money with all Internet Updates?

If you remove modules--for temporary--from the home page, is there on in
particular that makes it perform much better?

Have you heard of "Nuke The Bills"?

Default Money Plus v-e-r-y slow to start, continually asks for activation

I'm using Money Plus with Vista SP1. Money Plus takes several minutes
to start and continuously asks me to activate, which I have multiple
times. Once running it seems OK. I can't be sure whether this is
related to my installing SP1 recently; I don't know if Money ever ran
normally after installing SP1 but I've been using it for several
months now with no problems.

Any ideas?
Thanks
John
