You could also try a level 1 repair (which will also reset reports).> the file was fixed and the following log: "fixed records in BGT_ITM table". > But when I tried to open the file (already repaired), after typing my > password I receive the same message: this operation cannot be performed. Otherwise, a backup will be what is available. |

| I'll do that. I was backing up my files in a different media every month, but the last time I did it was on October. I guess I'll have to be more carefull and back it up more often. Thank you anyway. "Cal Learner-- MVP" wrote: - quote - > In microsoft.public.money, Fernanda wrote: > > Thank you, but it didn“t work. I would restore your newest or second-newest backup. | Thank you, but it didn“t work. I tried level 2 repair and got an answer that the file was fixed and the following log: "fixed records in BGT_ITM table". But when I tried to open the file (already repaired), after typing my password I receive the same message: this operation cannot be performed. It is not a software problem though 'cause I am able to open my kids files, which don't have passwords. Try a level 2 repair as described in> Everyday I update my file, and everything went right 'till yesterday. | I“ve been using Microsoft Money 2003 every day for quite a few years already. Everyday I update my file, and everything went right 'till yesterday. Today, when I tried to open the file, I received a message stating: "this operation cannot be performed". I“ve already copied the file to another computer, tried giving it another name, and also tried to open de bkp file, but I received the same message. Unfortunately, the last backup I've made was on October... I'm from Brazil and people here don't know this software. Can somebody help me please? I really don't want to start all over again. Thanks. |
