Money Plus has limited support of Canadian banks. In the setup,
those banks are listed under C.
http://www.microsoft.com/money/banko...Type=BanksOnly

And those may only be "web services". So really limited.

Also, Money Plus is not sold in Canada tho it works in Canada. You
could try the Money Plus Deluxe trial after reading the warnings,
and then find that you are blocked from online purchase without a US
address and credit card.

Money Essentials is sold in Canada. It is the
simplified/stripped-down version. It has a free trial also. It is
unlikely to meet your needs.

I wish there were a better message for you.

Default Support for both Canada and US banks

Does anyone know if the new version of Microsoft MOney supports downloads
from BOTH Canadian and US financial institutions? I'd like to switch away
from Quicken but only if Money solves this problem

I have bank accounts in both countries and I'm sick and tired of Quicken's
"I know what's good for you attitude" and refusal to allow mixing downloads
of bank accounts of both countries. Quicken says you WILL only download from
one country or the other!
