1. The file type you want to bring over is *.mny and your latest
*.mbf file.

2. You might need to convert her Money file to Money 2005 or Money
2004 as an intermediate step. It would be easiest if you do this on
her old computer, so that it does not interfere with your Money Plus
Deluxe install. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/919524/en-us

Default Transfering from Money 2002 to Money Plus Deluxe

Hello,
I have a problem that I hope someone will help with, My wife's computer
has an older version ( money 2002 ) on it with several years of data. We
receintly bought a new computer and wish to run Money Plus Deluxe.
We made a backup of the "02 data and went to introduce it into Money Plus
and got the error message about wrong file type.
I ran out of time and have not tried anything since. Can someone help me or
direct me to a post ?
TIA, Mie
