Is there any solution for this? servers vs third party info. However http://support.microsoft.com/kb/904336 could give you information about what happens with a third party access FI that passes thru MSN Money on the way to you. |

I would log onto the web site of your WaMu. See if the unwanted account is still showing on the website. If not, I would disable online access for WaMu in your Money file, change the FI in Money for the unwanted account to something else, or maybe just delete that account. Then set up your WaMu accounts in Money again. You could even do what is described in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/323964/en-us after changing/deleting the unwanted account and before setting up WaMu for online access again. Note that your undo is to restore a backup. You might want to consider increasing how many backups that Money keeps, tho the default of four is probably more than enough for most. |

Even though I have marked one of my WaMu accounts as closed in Money, Money still tries to update it and I get an "Update unsuccessful" message every time. I have reported this before, and apparently that's just how Money works, which is ridiculous. If an account is marked as closed, Money should NOT try to update it along with the other currently active accounts. The problem is that all accounts with a single institution are treated the same: they are either all updated or all not updated and they are all controlled by the same login information. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's the way it appears to me. |

In Money Plus, mark the account(s) that you don't want to be updated> I have financial institutions where I hold accounts in joint ownership with > my son along with my own private accounts. | I am running Money Plus Premium – How can I update selected accounts? I have financial institutions where I hold accounts in joint ownership with my son along with my own private accounts. I have not found a way to allow me to do online updates only with my accounts; it always wants to update his as well. In addition if I try to delete his account from my file Money tells me that it will delete my accounts as well. I want to track my son’s finances separately from my own. How can I do that? |
