Default Re: Bill Summary (Select Multiple Bills) Broken

I don't recall ever being able to de-select an item from FCF.

You say you imported your data? Does that include historical data? I've got
fifteen years and dozens of closed accounts. Limited means to import .MNY
file data has been a severe impediment to switching for many users. How did
you do it?

In forecast cash flow you can see what is already pending but can not
Deselect a single or multiple bills, as if you were not planning on paying
using the default account. Sometimes I like to shuffle how I pay a bill to
redirect funds from a CC or a savings account if needed.

I already imported my data to Quicken and it was pretty painless. Just need
to set up the bills and learn how to run the budget pages. Interestingly
enough Quicken was able to connect to my Bank and CapitalOne with no
troubles but Money could never do it. Still Don't know if Quicken will do
what I am looking for though but it's worth a try.

I use Forecast Cash Flow to look forward on my bills and income all of the
time. It's my #1 tactical management strategy. Tell me again why you can't
do this in Money? Lack of Multi-select in Bills?

BTW, let us know how you are approaching the data migration problem if you
are really off to Q.

Well that more or less answers my question then.
Spent a couple hours playing with Quicken and it seems to have most of these
feature and more that M$ has decided to throw away. I can even look forward
a couple months in advanced on my bills and income. It's sad though, 6 years
of using a product only to have upgrades drive you to another vendor.

If more of us thought so, it'd be a pretty useless place to come for help.
That having been said, many other users have long since shared their
concerns here over the same issues you raise. Nothing has changed, though.

Default Bill Summary (Select Multiple Bills) Broken

In Money 2005 I am able to select multiple bills and deposits and Money will
calculate how much I will have in my mail checking account after each bill
is selected. If I want to deselect a bill I can and it will recalculate. For
me this is the best tool in Money for managing my cash flow and how I will
pay bills.
Money 2007 and 2008 does not allow me to CTRL select or shift select
multiple bills at all.
The cash flow function is worthless for this as it just shows upcoming bills
and you can not deselect a bill and put it back to see what will happen in
real time.
Also in Money 2004 I could see up to 3 instances of upcoming, current
versions only allow the next current upcoming bill.
Is Quicken the way to go these days?
