| As Cal has said this message is a rather cack-handed way of MS telling you you are trying to open a file produced by version N+1 in version N. In later versions of Money the message is a bit more meaningful! -- Regards Bob Peel, Microsoft MVP - Money For unofficial FAQs see http://money.mvps.org/ or http://umpmfaq.info/ I do not respond to any emails that I have not specifically asked for. | I am trying to open a Money file on my newer PC that uses Micosoft XP. I reinstalled my copy of MS Money 2001 and tried to open the most recent money file from my back up floppies and it is asking for a password before it will open! I have never used a password on MS Money. Is there a way around this?. I've tried it on two computers in our household that both run on XP. My version on my computer before it became faulty was ME. Any suggestions please...Thanks Big Kev |
