| I'm probably missing something--Budget questions are always ones where I struggle to be helpful because nobody wants Money's budgets to work the way they do and the way they do isn't so hot either--but maybe I'm missing something. I don't know what it means to exclude a transaction--as in an entry in an Account Register--from the budget. You can exclude or include a category. Sometimes if you exclude a category Money will remind you and offer to include it when you enter a transaction referencing the category. Are you saying you excluded a scheduled bill/deposit? Is that scheduled bill/deposit still in Bills? | It is the Advanced Budget. The issue is that the excluded Transactions no longer show up in the View Transactions dialog box within the "Enter Your Income" - View Income part of the Budget. The individual transactions (paycheck entries) still do appear within the checking account though so they are still in the system, just not showing up in the budget. | Are you using Advanced Budget, Essential Budget, or Savings & Spending Budget? (Sorry, it used to be easier before Microsoft balkanized all the features.) Have you tried clicking on the Budget entry on the third menu line from the top? Is there a choice there--it's on the left for Advanced Budget--like Edit budget? | I excluded a number of items from my budget in Money 2007. I now want to add those exluded items back into my budget. However, I don't seem to be able to figure out how to do this. Any help or suggestions on how to do this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for any help!! |
