Rename a known currency that does not get updated automatically, and
that you will never use.

Tools-> Settings-> ProgramSettings-> UpdateCurrencies

Make an extra copy/backup first in case you want to undo something.

Default Foreign currencies unknown to Money

I'd like to track a bank account denominated in Belarusian rubles using
Money Plus Deluxe. I understand how Money tracks foreign currencies it knows
about (such as Russian rubles) but can't find any way to specify an unlisted
currency or input exchange rates by hand. Surely there is some way to do
this. Has anybody figured it out?

Thanks in advance.
