With the Portfolio showing accounts, select the watch account, and
enter the symbol in the lower right corner, where it says
AddSymbols, and click EnterInAccount. Money will add a 0-share buy.

Cal,

So I need to show a buy with a number of shares? Is there no way without
actually entering a number of shares bought?

Previously I have been doing it the way you have suggested but it is awkward
than I would like.

Create a "Watch account", and enter Buys into that. On the
Portfolio, you can toggle ChangePortfolioView-> ShowWatchAccounts to
include or not include the watch accounts.

Default Tracking Stocks of Interest

I am using Money Plus H&B.

How can I keep stocks in a watch list to see their performance without
owning the stock. I would like to see them in the Portfolio view.
