| RE: Money 2007 "Software update" question We need to separate your issues. Let's make sure: if you have backup files (.mbf) you need to RESTORE them not IMPORT them. If you have a .mny file you need to OPEN it, not restore it. If your file is from an installation newer than M07, no amount of anything will get it to open in M07. | Money 2007 "Software update" question A few weeks ago I formatted my hard drive and reinstalled XP. I reinstalled Money 2007 premium and it needed to do a softwear update. The files were down loaded and I restarted the computer and restarted Money only to recieve the same message again. I consulted article id # 927811 from MS and I still have the problem. If I ignore the update, money starts and loads but will not let me imoprt my backup files from before the reistallation. Please help. Receipts are piling up on desk and wife threatens to burn desk![at] ) |
