| Another data point from a thread of that era offered by Cal Learner: Enter "two accounts" into the Ask Money box of Help. Again, I can't test this in M02/3/4 as no longer have them installed. | Well, I don't do the download thing nor have that version anymore. As I recall, there was a way to define financial institutions that were NOT on the list. I know I defined my own FIs back in versions of that era (save the download data setup). I also know back then people were reporting this issue/solution. I'd search in groups.google.com, but google has all but ruined that tool for an useful work. What were they thinking? Here's where I started: http://groups.google.com/groups/sear...hors=&safe=off Perhaps someone with a better memory for M02-4 in the area of defining FIs will pop into the thread. | Maybe I'm missing something here but I'm baffled how the workaround works. There is no way to add a financial institution that is not listed in the drop down list. There is no way to add user id and password. | It's not a "problem" it's a characteristic of the older versions. The answer I directed you to tells you a workaround that *should* work without requiring you to upgrade. With a newer version, that "problem" has been replaced with several others. One of which is called Yodlee. The other of which is called Yodlee downloads expire. Money Plus would let you set up the two Discover credit cards fordirect online access. You would want to use the 60-day free trial first to be sure. Pay attention during the install if you don't want Money Plus trial to uninstall the older version as it installs itself. - quote - > "Dick Watson" <littlegreengecko[at]mind-enufalready-spring.com> wrote in > message news:8B52D56B-7A40-4638-9D0C-D75EB01EEB13[at]microsoft.com... > > Precisely because you have an old version, this answer may still work for > > you: http://umpmfaq.info/faqdb.php?q=76. > > > "Neal" wrote: > > > > I realize that this is an old version of Money > > > and I will consider upgrading if the problem can be resolved with a newer > > > version. |

| So, with a newer version this problem has been corrected? | I am trying to use Money 2003 and I'm running into a problem downloading credit card transactions. I realize that this is an old version of Money and I will consider upgrading if the problem can be resolved with a newer version. I have two Discovercard accounts and I can't figure out how to get Money to download the transactions for both of the accounts. It seems to only allow me to download one of the accounts because I can't enter the separate user id and password for the second account. Is there a work around for this or will a newer version handle solve the problem |
