Default RE: Debt Reduction Planner

I've been having a similar problm in MS Money 2k8. Seems the dept planner
holds information from old plans/experiments you may have done previously.
If you Reset the Dept Reduction Plan settings, you can start fresh.

Found these directions [at] http://money.mvps.org/faq/article/468.aspx

Resetting the debt plan
Occasionally it is necessary to reset the debt plan information in your
Microsoft Money file. This is sometimes used to fix problems, or you may just
want to start again.

To reset the debt plan, follow the following steps:

1. Open your Money file
2. If you're using Money 2004 or below, click on Tools-> Options and click
the 'Planner' tab
3. If you're using Money 2005 or above, click on Tools-> Settings and
click 'Planner options'
4. There is a section named 'Debt Reduction Planner' - click on the
button marked 'Reset Debt Plan'

5. Click 'Yes' and then click 'OK' when you seee the message: "Are you
sure you want to clear all the information and permanent;y delete your debt
plan".
6. Restart Money

When you next start Money, all accounts will no longer be in the debt plan.

Default Debt Reduction Planner

I allocated $1250 dollars to pay off debts in the reduction planner. My
regular payments are setup for the 25th of each months. For the first 2
months of the reduction Plan money has only set the amount at a total of
$1250 dollars rahter than $2500 for 2 months. Money asks me to pay $275
dollars for November, then $975 for December. In January money sets it up so
I am paying $1250 each months untill the debt is done. I dont under stand why
Money is doing that any idea?
