| Steve, thank you for the response. I am acutally using Money Essentials because I only have a need to track my spending habits through the reporting system. I have tried to manually change the direct deposit date in the register but it will not let me (the date field is disabled). I am downloading my checking account information directly from my bank. As far as I know, there's nothing in the reporting system that allows> my monthly wages which get deposited on the first of the month unless > the first of the month falls on a weekend-in which case the deposit > is made the friday before the first of the month. From then on, I'd have to remember not to correct that date. -- Steve Bell New Life Home Improvement Arlington, TX |

| I'm assuming you are not saying that somehow two transactions are getting downloaded/entered into the registers. You need to match the early ones with the scheduled one before accepting it. I'm assuming you are using M04 or earlier or M05 and above with Advanced Bills and not using Money Essentials (MEss). | I have a problem that I can't figure out. I have direct deposit for my monthly wages which get deposited on the first of the month unless the first of the month falls on a weekend-in which case the deposit is made the friday before the first of the month. This creates a problem with reporting in that it shows I made twice my normal income because it shows a direct deposit on 10/1/2008 and 10/31/2008. How can I manually push the 10/31/2008 direct deposit to 11/1/2008 so that the reports and calculations within Money make sense. Thanks for your help. |
