All my 5 Vanguard funds are in one Vanguard Money account and even
with direct download, Money can't properly keep track of which shares
belong to which fund. It's forever subtracting and then re-adding
shares from one transaction to the next which actually are another
fund's shares. Pretty much usesless. .Would much prefer separate
accounts.

Paul is right. If you would like to split your current inclusive
account into the 5 pieces, I could offer a suggestion as to how to
best accomplish that. It's still not trivial, but is not all that
tedious either.

Vanguard used to do it that way (separate accounts for each fund).

I have the same experience with Janus. Each investment is downloaded as if
it were a separate account. I could not find a way to prevent this.

Default Janus mutual funds in Money 2007

I have holdings in 5 Janus mutual funds and would normally expect them to be
entered as investments in a single MS Money investment account.

Unfortunately, the automatic account and transaction download from Janus to
MS Money wants to put each mutual fund into its own account. Of course, I
can manually perform the updates, but then I might as well use a pen and
ledger.

Is there a way to configure Money to be how I would like it?

Thanks,

Sanjay
