Bozo - thanks - will see how many of my finds I can match up

can anyone shed any light as why certain funds are on / off the quotes
server ?

Go to

http://moneycentral.msn.com/investor...me.asp?Funds=1

and under "Name or symbol(s)" enter, in your case, CA:MFC. You'll see a
drop down list. If you enter CA:MFC6 there will be no funds shown in the
drop down list, which would indicate that CA:MFC612 is missing on the quotes
server. Try the same with CA:MFC00 - MFC00612 is also missing.

I don't know how to get a complete list of all symbols available on the
quotes server, but the above procedure serves the purpose.

Bozo - thanks - just one question though please - when you said "I found
CA:CCM340 on the quotes server ... " where did you look and how can I get a
listing to see if I can map my holdings to the quotes server

I am having exactly the same problem, also with M2000 deluxe (Canadian
edition). One of the symbols that can't be found is CA:CCM341. I found
CA:CCM340 on the quotes server and set up a dummy investment for this fund.
It updates to Money with no problem.

This leads me to conclude that the problem is *not* with M2000 and *not* a
technical problem with the MS quote servers. Rather, it seems that some
symbols are simply missing on the quote servers. Does anyone know why this
is so?

Default Canadian Mutual Funds daily update in Money 2000 Deluxe Version 8.

much like the post of APKESH from last week I have had problems with
downloading Canadian Mutal Funds - I saw the note that indicated that the
fund numbers may have changed so I went to MacKenzie Financial's web site to
check fund numbers. I changed the Mac Ivy Growth and Income from CA:MFC612 to
CA:MFC00612 and still ended up with the same message "Money was unable to
retrieve a quote " -- the TSX and NYSE listings appear to be picked up -- it
is just the Canadian mutual fund listing that seem to be missing -- any
thoughts ?

thanks
