Amazon lists 6 copies available from users
http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-860-.../dp/B000069IL2
if you wish to stay with the same version.

When you bought your old computer it had Money pre-installed on it and the
license only allowed you to use Money on that old computer. If you want to
use Money on the new computer you must buy a new copy of Money. Technically
there is no way to transfer the program and even if you were able to you
would be in breach of the license.

That is a VERY COMMON situation for Windows applications because of all of
the metadata about the application and its interfaces that the installer has
to register with and tailor to the operating system.

So in other words I have a program on the old computer that I have no way of
transfering over? I was hoping that I could just in some way get it to the
new computer due to the fact that I am very used to using this version and
all of my files are already in that format! Is there a transfer program that
I can use to get that to cross over to the new system? Please help!

P.S. Thank you all for being so prompt on replying..... this forum is

If you are in the US, use the Money 2004 trial described in
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/919524/en-us , method 1, on the new
computer to convert to an intermediate version. Then install the
appropriate Money Plus trial, which will let you try things out for
a couple of months. If you want to go with that, uninstall the
trial, and buy and install the Money Plus version you will use.

Sorry, but that was an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) license.
OEM licenses are tied to the machine on which they are first installed
and can't be transferred.

I dont have a disk for Money 03. It came loaded on the old computer! Is
there a way to transfer over the program with out a disk? Or maybe a way to
back up the whole program then transfer it over? All of my businesses stuff
is on there and I cant use the new computer with out it! Please help!

Install Money from your original install disk.

Copy only your *.mny and recent *.mbf files to your Documents folder
on the new computer. Open Money by right-clicking your *.mny file.

Make sure you adjust the backup locations to places that actually
exist on the new computer. Use Browse for that.

It can be useful to set a USB to a fixed drive letter for your
scheduled backup to "floppy".
