Whew! I found my 2006 CD today....and it runs REALLY well on my MacBook Pro
w/BootCamp running WinXP Home.

The software "expired" 9/1/2008 and the OFX imports are still working, so
I'm a happy camper!

Despite the " Online Services Policy", disabling off the download of
OFX and QIF statements was not done.

I haven't run into that just yet....it would be nice if M$ would do something
about the performance issue in MoneyPlus so folks like me would made the jump.

Honestly, if the OFX/QIF importing ends along with all the stock updates,
etc, that would be wrong. If I'm manually getting the OFX file to import it,
that functionality shouldn't expire. To me that's a program function, not a
complimentary update "feature."

I believe that the OFX file will not import after the expiration date. You
will have to enter all of your transactions manually. This may not be a bad
thing, but from your post, it is not what you expect.

Default Money 2006 to MoneyPlus...NOT!

I am using Money 2006 Deluxe and my computer HD fried. :-(

My initial problem is, my M06DX cd is MIA. So, I download the MoneyPlus
Trial to see if it's worth the upgrade. I don't think it is because....

1. It looks exactly the same without any major features added;

2. It is extremely slow on the home page and I need important data
there(Spending Tracker, Bills, Accounts)...and in reading the group here, the
only way to get the home page to work is to not have anything I need on
it....that simply is unacceptable to me. Why put the feature there if it's
not going to work?

3. I don't need the stinkin' updates that expire. LOL! I simply download my
OFX from BofA and that gives me what I need.

4. There should have been a Money 2009 to fix this or in the least, a patch.
