Be sure that your Money *.mny and backup *.mbf files are moved to a spot that you will have full privileges to, such as Documents. If they are in a place like ProgramFiles, Vista will create an impermanent copy of the file for the user to use, unless the user explicitly right-clicks at launch and choose RunAsAdministrator that time. Right-click the Money icon and choose RunAsAdministrator to let possible updates happen. Then reboot the computer. Thereafter, it should not be necessary to run as Administrator. |

| hi, I am trying to download money 2000 from a disc onto a vista machine. It doesn't autorun and I can't find a setup icon that will start the set up. Is it possible to have money 2000 on a vista or am I banging my head against a brick wall? (I have Office 2007 downloaded for everything else) Thanks, Tina |
