No one has ever come here and said how much they love Money Essentials. As for the missing transaction, it's hard to say whether it's Money's fault or the bank's fault. MEss might be trying too hard to avoid an accidental duplicate transaction, or it might be the bank doing the same thing. The correct process, of course, is for every system to faithfully pass on all the raw data and let you figure it out, but I wouldn't be surprised if MEss tries to fix things without telling you. I have three electronic payments every month on the same day to YMCA for childcare - one for $360 and two for $261. Money only imports one of the $261 transactions, and somehow still manages to show the same account balance as my bank. Even though there are three different transaction numbers for the 3 electronic payments, Money still only recognizes one of same dollar amount transactions on the same date. |
