| If you are still receving that error message of "setup was unable to install some of the components needed to run money" and you have already reset the security settings along with a few other steps, than you may need to call Microsoft Money tech support so that they can run a tool in cooperation with Vista support to reset the registry permissions to allow you to install the Microsoft Money program, this is necesary since it is a permissions that is blocking the installation and resetting the security settings did not work Microsoft Money tech support phone number is 1-866-834-8741 or if you would prefer via email go to www.support.msn.com and submit your request under Msn Money. Hope this helps. | I don't remember doing anything special, and Money 2007 is running fine on my Vista64 computer with Office 2007. I ran the install as admin, and then opened Money the first time using Run as Admin, so it could intall any updates. Any further updates require running once as admin to get installed. I would expect Money Plus to be better behaved than Money 2007, if anything. Did you install Vista SP1? I don't use Firefox, but maybe you want to uninstall that before installing Money. I doubt it should matter, but Money does use IE. Logmein might be another possible issue, but I don't use it so I don't know.
