Thank you on all counts--not to mention speed of response!!

I didn't think to look under Rename!

I guess I really need to get used to using the cash transaction register as
a "holding" or area of sorts. It seems simple when YOU write it!!

That's OK. I haven't thought about how I would do things without the
cash transactions register.

From the account details under General Information, click Rename.
Check the check-box.

I would sell the funds at one account, create the new account,
transfer the cash to the new account, buy new funds at the new
account.

What about Annual Fees in my retirement accounts that deduct shares at the
moment's dollar amount equalling the $10.00 fee? I got confused so I turned
off cash because I didn't know what to do with all those buy/sell
transactions (I only managed to add a "Fee" by selling shares equal to
$10.00 so that it matched my statement). If you couldn't tell, I'm fairly
new to investments and retirement accounts.

Incidentally, I haven't spent a lot of time looking around, but can I turn
the cash transaction back on if I really do need it?

Also, if I may ask, for the life of me I couldn't figure out how to do a
rollover from a 401(k) to an IRA at another institution. I though it would
be simple, but it only seems to "Transfer" the complete investment over to
the other broker. I started with a fresh, empty install of Money 2004 and
I'm trying to get some accounts caught up.

Default Investment Fees

In setting up an investment account I see no activities to
record Fiduciary Fees. What am I missing? What is the best
way to track IRA fees in regards to activities?

Thank you in advance!
