Frayed knot.... unless you can do one of these: 1. get the bank to not have the account show up on the web page from the bank 2. switch to a bank that has direct direct (non-third-party) downloads. 3. Don't download automatically from that FI. They may offer OFX file download on their web site, and they may let you select which accounts get included. - quote - > It's messing with reports.
Reports, as in the reports listed when you click Reports? Most ofthose can be customized to exclude any accounts you like. That does not apply to the "Monthly reports". Now if you delete all of the transactions from the account you don't want, and if you keep deleting the statement without accepting future statements, that account would not affect anything-- including the "Monthly reports". |

To work around this, instead of processing the transactions for the un-wanted account you could right click the on the AccountList page where it shows you have transactions to read for that account, and choose DeleteStatement. |

See http://www.microsoft.com/money/bankonline.aspx to see if your FI has "third party" in the description. |

This is the situation that I am running in to. I have:> access by clicking ManageOnlineServices, clicking the account, and > then StopUsingOnlineServices. > Now if that is what you don't want to do, because you have other > accounts at the respective FIs that download OK, there would be a > workaround that might do the job for you. Bank #1 - Account #1 - Account #2 - Account #3 Account #1 and Account #2 are accounts that I use daily. I have Account #3 marked as closed, because I don't want to see anyting about it in Money. However, it's still getting updates, and still factored in within certain areas in Money (uncategorized transactions, etc...) I don't want anything downloaded or any action taken on Account #3. Is there a way to stop this? |

| Thanks Cal, I do want to disable the accounts, but since the initial setup was never successful, I don't see the Stop Using Online Services link, just "Finish setup..." Now if that is what you don't want to do, because you have other accounts at the respective FIs that download OK, there would be a workaround that might do the job for you. - quote - > How can I tell Money to ignore these two accounts so I can stop the error

| Hi, I have Money Plus Delux and my credit card and 401k don't permit downloads into money, but Money keeps trying. I see "Update Unsuccessful" and in the Manage online services it says, "Complete setup for online services" and "Setup online Services". I do not want to do either. How can I tell Money to ignore these two accounts so I can stop the error messages? -- Matthew McDermott, MVP Principal Consultant Catapult Systems, Inc. |
