Did you have any dividends on these investments which would affect the
calculation?

Default Gain does not equal market value minus cost basis

I use Money Plus Deluxe to manage my investments.

I recently noticed that gain does not equal market value minus cost basis
for a few of the investments. However, the market value and cost basis are
in fact correct.

I have no additional income and have made no withdrawals from the
investments that reflect this discrepancy.

Any idea why this might be?
