try this link if you are still out

When I first tried your site I got the 404 error. Then when I
was able to get to your site, the link to "xl2qif" failed with
the same 404 error.

I didn't try to double-check the actual "xl2qif" url at your
site, but I know that the "xl2qif" site - as found with Google -
is still functional.

By white list, what I meant was that they explicitly deny any site that they
don't have categorized on whatever list it is they are buying from whomever
they are buying it. With hundreds of millions of websites out there, their
list has tens of thousands that are "acceptable".

Whitelist is a term-of-art for an explicitly permitted list when all else is
denied as opposed to a blacklist of things denied when all else is
permitted.

The link works for me, although many of the links from it are broken.

(Did you mean blacklist? Our proxy at work bans many sites, under
categories such as "sport", "food and drink", "entertainment". But you
get a message saying that the site has been blacklisted - and maybe a
warning from "internal systems" about possible disciplinary action...)

I thought you were talking about a 404 on the umpmfaq site. Yes, the sites
it links too have not been validated/updated in several years. All bets are
off. Google is our friend.

Well that's weird. While at the page in your link, I decided to
click on the link to "xl2qif" ... got that old 404 error again.

I think I got one of those 404 errors when I tried it this
morning. But I tried again just now and got there fine (as I
have every other time I tried, except this morning).

Hmmm. I get to it. You may be going through a proxy server that white lists
the web. My "heritage" employer has taken to doing that lately. Sucks.

But, yes, that resource is one I list, IIRC.

I couldn't display that link.

But I can say the free Excel macro, "xl2qif", will do the trick
(Google for it). You just open the .csv file in Excel, tell
"xl2qif" which columns contain which fields, and export to a
..qif file.

Yes.

I haven't updated the links i quite some time, so some may be dead and you
may end up googling. With that disclaimer in mind, see
http://umpmfaq.info/faqdb.php?q=8.

Kind Regards
