Money Plus Deluxe 2008 doesn't launch

Did you ever figure this out? I am having exactly the same problem
(except I am upgrading from 2006). For me, the DLL is there. Thanks!

Did you ever figure this out? I am having a similar problem - I only
get outcome (a). That is, I upgraded Money 2006 to Money Plus Deluxe
2008 by downloading the installer. I'm also using XP Pro on Virtual PC
for Mac. The installation seems to go fine. The last step says that
Money Plus is "ready to go!." When I launch Money Plus, though,
there's a msmoney.exe proces that runs for about 20 seconds, then
stops, and that's it. No error message, nothing. I checked to see if
the mnysetup.dll is there and it is. I'm not running antivirus. I've
tried uninstalling and re-installing many times.

Go to control folders, click on the view tab and show hidden files and
folders and uncheck hide protected operating system file folders.
After that in the virtual ps go to program folders and then to microsoft
money plus and select mnycorefiles (the folder) In that folder look for
mnysetup.dll, if you are unable to find it that is why the program is not
running and giving you that error.

If that is the case try uninstalling and reinstalling the money program.
