To Be Determined.

Their word were "future release dates are TBD."

That's all they've told us users. Does it mean we'll see a new version next
spring? Next fall? Three years from now? TBD.

What is TBD? To be developed? Are you saying MS may not be producing any
future editions of Money? I guess that means that problems with conversion
are also not apt to be corrected. I can't convert successfully from Quicken
due to many transfers showing up with no category (the transfer is the
category). The transfer actually shows up in the transferred to account, but
there is no category listed in either account. (Transfers that took place
before about Sept of 2005 seem to be ok and have the "Transfer to Acct #"
listed in the category field.

I posted a reply to this last night, but it seems to have been swallowed up
somewhere. Probably a spam word or two.

Microsoft has announced that future releases are "TBD". Given this, I'd
think the best that could be predicted for a Q08 converter is "TBD".

They've tended in the past to release a converter for the version of Quicken
released in the year PRIOR to the version of Money released. (E.g., M06
imported Q05...)

They aren't releasing a new version of Money this year. What this means for
a Q08 converter is unknown to us users. Maybe they will release one as a
service update to Money+. Maybe one will come out with some future version
of Money about which all we have been told is that "release dates are TBD".
I wouldn't hold my breath waiting.

Default Quicken 2007 again

Does the new version of MS Money convert from Quicken 2007? Correctly?
Quicken is moving to 2009 so, based on previous posts, I would assume MS
would actually be in the process of getting the Quicken 2008 conversion
going. I don't see any new info, however, on the 2007 conversion actually
working. I tried a trial once several months ago so that is not an option now.
