| There's a two years from installation or two years from more or less when they last shipped it ()there's a hard date in the EULA), whichever comes first clause in there somewhere. That way if you buy a shrink wrapped version on eBay a decade from now, they owe you bupkus. | Money 2006 had two years of online services updates. But it is not two years from the install date. I believe, it expired for everyone beginning this month. I know my copy of 2006 did on my laptop and I had just installed it earlier this year. (But have been using Money 2006 for a long while, maybe that is the difference?) I am now running the demo of Money Plus 2008. Just so that you know.- quote - > I'm going to

| Hello, Easy question I hope. Money 2006 Deluxe says that it is compatible with the operating system XP. Does that mean it is compatible with XP Pro too? Does it make a difference what service pack update I'm running? I want to install Money 2006 today. I know that online support is ending for 2006 as of tomorrow. I'm going to be upgrading from 2002 to 2006 first (if all goes well, otherwise I know I have to upgrade my file to the 2004 version as a stepping stone.) Sadly, I'll probably have to upgrade later to 2007 or 2008. I'm going to see how annoying it is after the online services end. My online services ended for 2002 and it's not bad at all. Just have to click on the update manually. Everything else is exactly the same including the bill pay. Not sure if it will be that way for 2006 though since the cutoff is part of the EULA. Thanks for your help and hope you're enjoying the long weekend! -- Angela |
