How did the transaction become corrupted? There are a thousand
possibilities. Most likely the bank put an odd item in the transaction,
and the Money import routine didn't catch it. Later, the Money matching
routine _did_ catch it. Why one and not the other? The two routines
were probably written by two different programmers who had different
skills. And of course there's always the possibility that the database
just randomly messed it up.

I ran the repair tool but initially it did not seem to solve the problem.
After I ran the repair I went to the specific check in question and clicked
on the "Accept" button but it still would accept this check that had cleared
from the bank. After several attempts I finally clicked the "Change" button
and it placed another transaction in my ledger identically to one I wanted to
accept and after doing that it let me accept the cleared check that I had
been trying to accept. Afterwards I deleted the transaction that was deleted
and all is well. I still don't know how it was solved though.

I download from my bank the checks that have cleared. I then click on to
"accept" the downloaded check but Microsoft Money 2006 will not let me accept
it. You can also change it if need be but it will not let you "accept" it.
What can I do?
