| I had the very same problem. My system crashed. After reformating, reinstalling Windows XP and reinstalling Money 2004 I could not get into my Money file. It says "The password you entered is incorrect". I always suspected the crash was due to the Microsoft update. I wonder if it was a Money update and this caused our problem. Could it be that the actual error said "incompatible version"?> my money files. I don't have the original CD of the money 2004 since I > lost it moving to a new office. I bought money 2007 and won't open my > file "invalid version". If so, that would normally indicate that the installation was from a different country than the original. You bought Money 2007? Money Plus (2008) has been out for quite a while. - quote - > I downloaded a 2004 version to open it and it
This usually indicates that the Money file was from a version of> says "invalid password" I'm 100% positively sure my password is ok. > Can you help me? Money that was newer than 2004. Do you have a *.m12 file on either hard drive? |

| My computer crashed and with it my Money 2004. I was able to recover my money files. I don't have the original CD of the money 2004 since I lost it moving to a new office. I bought money 2007 and won't open my file "invalid version". I downloaded a 2004 version to open it and it says "invalid password" I'm 100% positively sure my password is ok. Can you help me? |
