The ONLY difference between Deluxe and Premium is online teaser services
that there is no way to really "trial".

Yes, but expect a warning about not being able to use the business
features.

Instead I would suggest you use the Deluxe trial. But either way
will work.

Default 2006 Premium to Home/Business Trial then to Premium Plus

Since there is no trial for Premium Plus what happens if I use the
Home/Business Plus Trial? Can I then purchase the Premium Plus and use the
data file that I was using under the Home/Business trial or will it not be
able to read that new data file?

I have already purchase the upgrade to Premium Plus, but if I can use the
Home/Business Trial first I would like to do that before activating this copy.
