Default RE: Rebate

See http://rebatestatus.microsoft.young-america.com to submit a rebate for
your order.

I just ordered Premium for 49.59 using the page at
http://www.microsoft.com/money/Affil...eID=MONEYUHSCU

The page shows $39.59 for a final price, but it only charged me $49.59 and
it looks like I will receive a $30 rebate to make the final price $19.59.

I kinda think the change to purely online distribution had a price
change--down before the rebate they don't offer anymore so up in the end--as
part of the bargain.

BTW, this is not a way to contact Microsoft either. We are just fellow
users.

I thought that the Deluxe that had an associated rebate was $49.99
pre-rebate. No?

Anyway, see if http://support.microsoft.com/kb/898130 helps.

Default Rebate

I noticed that my order acknowledgement of deluxe quotes a price of
$39.99. No mention of rebate although the page I ordered from advertises
a rebate.
It is unclear to me as to what generates the rebate.

I would not normally use this method to contact Microsoft but did not
find either phone number or email address on anything that I saw once I
ordered the product. Contact Lite.
