If you are asking about reporting cashflow based on transaction HISTORY, yes,
you can report this based on time periods and/or categories. If you are
talking about reporting future projected cashflow based on scheduled items,
et al., no, there is no way in Money to report this. You can display it. But
Money has never supported reporting this, sadly.

Is there a place to run reports on forecast cashflow? I am looking for
categories and certain time periods.

With Money (insert version here) Deluxe Edition or higher and Advanced
Bills, there is a thing called Forecast Cash Flow. It graphs future cash
flow trends from scheduled bills, optionally including budgets but not
scheduled items and optionally including trended but not scheduled
categories.

Under Bills, take a look at Forecast Cash Flow.
This is what I use to look ahead.

Money used to have a projected balance graph that appeared at the
bottom of each account register. It took into account all the items in
the Bills screen. It was disabled a few years ago because it slowed
down the system too much on large files.

Default Cashflow Planning

I am an old Quicken user and one feature that it had is the ability to log
your bills in a bill management section and have those pending bills reflect
in your projected checking account balance to project your ending available
balance.

Can Money do this? And how?
