Obviously, the programmer in charge of the B&DM didn't have the proper
skills. There are many, many ways to write a database query to retrieve
the data needed for the B&DM. They all take different amounts of effort
by your PC. The programmer chose one of the methods that sometimes
takes a long time to run.

I removed each module and found the problem... the BillsAndDeposits
had on effect but the SpendingTracker did have a dramtic effect on
load time. One other item I noticed was in the Budget section it
never list the budget information and just shows "loading". Removing
this had no effect on load performance.

So, any suggestions on how to fix the SpendingTracker module problem?

I did recreate them byhand. I have about 75 and it was a pain, but with
the performance improvement it was well worth it. Altho I really don't have

to load. Cals suggestions helped, but when I used the nuke the bills
feature as a long shot, the load time went back to about 20 seconds. I have
no idea why that would help but it sure did.
Make sure you print the bills first and note any allocations as you will
have to re-enter by hand

I would first go to Tools-> Settings-> ProgramSettings and set the
(GeneralDisplayStartMoneyWithThisPageOpen:Accoun tList

That should speed up your starting, since it sounds as if the
"home" page is probably associated with the slowness.

Then Tools-> Settings-> HomePageDisplayOptions and Remove the
BillsAndDeposits and SpendingTracker modules. If you still have a
problem when you go to the "home" page, remove all modules. If the
problem goes away, you can add things back until the crash does not
happen. Add back in the other things you want on the home page.
Let us know which was the problem module.

You might want to experiment by making a *copy* of your file with a
different name. Open that copy and do
File-> Repair-> RemoveAllBillsData.

If things work a lot faster, check back for some tips to ease
re-adding desired bills back.

I recently upgraded from MSM2006 to MSM Plus... the installation went
well and overall the new version is working good except for one MAJOR
problem...

Any time I go to the "home page" of MSM Plus, it takes anywhere from 5
to 10 minutes for the screen to display the information and sections
(like account, budget, cash flow, etc). In MSM2006, going to the home
page never took more than 30 seconds.

Anyone expereince this same problem or have any suggestions?
