Did you go to go to Tools-> ProgramSettings-> UpdateCurrencies and
attempt to change the ExchangeRate for the Romanian leu?

I just changed it to 0.418883 with respect to $US, and it appeared
to stay. I could have un-ticked the UpdateExchangeRateOnline, but
the rate I entered did not change when I did an online update. It
would seem that Romanian leu is not automatically updating the
exchange rate online, in my quick one-time test.

If Romanian leu was your base currency, that would seem to
complicate matters. Otherwise, just entering the exchange rate by
hand for now would seem to be the thing to do.

Thanks for the answer. I tried it already. I could change the name and
symbol. I changed the symbol to RON, but nothing has changed, online
exchange rate was not updated to the correct one. I think there is another,
hidden code which is used for the update. If yes, can I change it? Or don't
you know any other trick/detailed instruction?

Thanks,

Péter

Pick a currency that you aren't using and change it's name.

Default Money 2007 - Romanian leu

Hi,

Romania has a new currency for a few years. Actually it is the same currency
but called new leu (RON). Money 2007 has no such currency or at least the
rate for Roman leu is not correct.

How can I include the new currency to the software?

Thanks,

Péter
