 Re: reinstalling money 2006 deluxe on new computer Burn the data file (the .MNY file) onto a CD or use a network. Copy the data file to your Documents directory on the new machine (NOT somewhere in Program Files). If you copied if from a CD, edit the files properties (r-click|Properties...) to clear the Read Only attribute. Double click on the newly copied file. | reinstalling money 2006 deluxe on new computer I have a new laptop on which I would like to reinstall money 2006 deluxe. The program is currently installed on a desktop. I installed the program ok, then made a back up from the original computer. Thinking I could just transfer the info that way. No such luck. How do I get the old info over to the new computer? |
