Default RE: Money Plus & Windows Live ID Sign-In Problem

Not sure if this will help or not but I had to go into my internet options,
click on privacy, then click on sites. At that point I had to Remove all
sites that were listed. I tried adding msn.com, live.com etc and allow but it
did nothing so I removed all the sites listed and got right in using my
Windows Live ID from both Money and online at moneycentral.msn.com

There are things that require a Live ID on your Money file, and
things that do not. I don't know about billpay.

If you look up an institution on
http://www.microsoft.com/money/bankonline.aspx and it says "third
party" in the description, it requires Live ID for automated
statement download.

OK, then I forget why I needed to use Money Central - it was to access one of
my accounts - just not sure which one. I am using Vista 64. If I create an
account without a Live ID, can I do all the same online and billpay stuff as
with a Live ID account?

Etrade has real OFX servers, and Microsoft Money can get the
statements directly.

You could try a new file with no LiveID.

Default Money Plus & Windows Live ID Sign-In Problem

Hello,
For the past week or two, I am unable to sign in to my Money Plus account
with my Windows Live ID. On intial attempt when opening the file, the
application states "Money could not verify your sign-in information...".
I'm using the latest verion number 17.0.120.1415. My account is setup to
retrieve infromation from MSN Money Central because this was the only way to
get Etrade updates. I tried to create a brand new Money file to see if my
file was somehow corruptedd an I received the same error. I am able to sign
in to many other MS services using the same Windows Live ID: these forums,
hotmail, MS Live Search Cashback account, and MSN Money Central so I know my
user id and password are correct. Besides, if you get either wrong, you get
a different error message. I tried deleting my IE 7 cookies as suggested in
a similar post. I made a change recently to link multiple hotmail accounts
to my Live ID/Passport account (not sure of the difference - name change?),
but I don't see this as related. Please help, between this issue, the
fiasco with the SP ealrier this year (kept askign me to update everytime I
start Money, but never completed update), and a similar login issue I had
with Money Deluxe 2007, this is turning out to be a very troublesome product
and I've been using this product for a long time as I started with version 1!
