Make sure your version (Help-> About) is 14.0.*.1405, and make sure> information to blank out which is a problem. Anyone got an answer or > quick fix? your *.mny file is not within ProgramFiles. If your version is not 14.0.*.1405, start Money by right-clicking the icon and choosing RunAsAdministrator (NOT the same as "run as an Administrator"). Then open Sample.mny from the install folder. Close Money, and then try restoring again. Rather than restoring to the default location, Browse to your Documents folder. | Microsoft Money 2005 under Vista I have successfully installed Money 2005 into Vista and it has accepted my old back up file from Windows XP. Problem is that when I fire it up and run as an Administrator it shifts to Basic graphics screen mode. This acceptable, however it causes some of the screen information to blank out which is a problem. Anyone got an answer or quick fix? thanks in anticipation Baz |
