Is there a "timeout" that one can change somewhere? But I even have that if I enter the same Payee several times the very same day - as just happened when I entered 2 months worth of bills. And shouldn't ALL payees be listed when I switch to the Payee list? I have the feeling, that for some reason these entries arre not added to the Payee list and Money probably just searches that list. If no matching Payee is in there, then obviously it can not auto-complete the name. So, the question is: why are these not added (or not shown, i.e for some reason "hidden")? Michael |

| Since I changed from the former Money version (MS Money 2005) to MS Money Plus Deluxe I have a strange phenomenon: Certain payees are not shown in the Payees-list (even though they appear in dozens if not hundreds of payments as payees - e.g. my health insurance company). The annoying side effect of this is, that when I start typing the name, it is NOT automatically completed - as it used to be. Instead I have to type the *entire* name. Strange enough when I then hit enter, then the amount and category of the last payment to that payee are found and entered as defaults. What could cause this weird effect? Is there a maximum length of the list of payees that are memorized? Can one somehow fix this? It's most annoying to have to type all these names in full all the time. After all - this automatic name and entry-field completion was one of the major reasons to go with such a program. Or else I could have remained with some simple spread-sheet instead... Michael |
