| Thanks - seems to have done the trick. I actually set up a 'Dummy' fund in the same account and then renamed it to something similar to, but not the same as, the problem investment. I am also having issues with downloading my credit card transactions. Just upgraded from Money 2006 to Money Plus and set up all the online accesses / passwords for each credit card account. Worked fine the first time, but not thereafter. I'll file this as a separate post as, again, it looks like other upgraders are having this problem too. Thanks, WillC. | Thanks, Cal Learner. Still seeing a $ sign, even after I adjust the currency and the Country/Region to British Pounds and Great Britain respectively. And the Cost Basis is completely wrong. This can't be that difficult to get right - is it something I am doing wrong or a Money issue (I noticed some other posts on incorrect Cost Basis in Money for stocks and other assets quoted in Pounds Sterling). Thanks again for your help. WillC. "Cal Learner-- MVP" wrote: - quote - > In microsoft.public.money, WillC wrote: > > Thanks. | Thanks. I don't see anywhere to set the country to Great Britain (the fund is not quoted, at least not anywhere that I can locate it on MSN), but I have set the currency for the investment to British Pounds. Shouldn't that do the trick? Happy to set the investment up under a different name if this will solve the below. If you go to the Details for the *Investment*, is the Country set to> both of which are in GBP (British Pounds Sterling). | Hello, I have created an Investment account in Money Plus for two non-quoted funds, both of which are in GBP (British Pounds Sterling). I have set up Money to view all my accounts (checking, savings, investment) in USD, regardless of the base currency of the account. Money lets me add both fund investments to this account in their base currency. However, when I come to manually update the price of the second investment added, Money will only let me do so in USD, not in GBP (the update price for the first fund is in GBP). Is there a way to correct this? I have tried adding the investment under a different name, but with no success. Thanks, Will C. |
