Assuming you made a payment of the last statement balance, if you have made any purchases since the statement date which are in the register, your balance will not be zero. It will be the sum of purchases since the last statement date. Mine never is, for that reason, although I pay the card monthly. Jim |

Ahhh... Good.> there is an essentials and and advanced option for budgeting. As a beginner, > I have not started the advanced option yet. I did try the quick fix to no > avail. Any other ideas? I suggest you try the "Advanced ". You can always change it back if it does not appeal to you. Tools-> Settings-> AccountSettings(global)-> DisplayAllAccountsInTheAdvancedRegister is an easy way to do that to all accounts. I am thinking that when you look at the register with the running Balance column, that things will be clearer to you. Note that the YouOwe at the bottom is positive if you owe the credit card company, and would go negative if the sum of the register transactions show you have a credit balance. Also note that the Bank Balance near the upper right is a downloaded value-- not a computed value. That is also duplicated in the upper left under the Downloaded heading. Ctrl+T will toggle the register between single-line and multi-line mode. - quote - > "Cal Learner-- MVP" wrote: > > In microsoft.public.money, loopyloop wrote: > > > > > > > > I am using the essential register. | Cal, Thanks for the quick response. I am using money deluxe. In money deluxe there is an essentials and and advanced option for budgeting. As a beginner, I have not started the advanced option yet. I did try the quick fix to no avail. Any other ideas? "Cal Learner-- MVP" wrote: - quote - > In microsoft.public.money, loopyloop wrote: > > > > I am using the essential register. Deluxe would give you more detail to know what is going on. |

| Hi, I am using the essential register. For my discover card, all my transactions are complete. A payment was just received which should have made my balance 0. However, my balance is way high. I've looked at a bunch of threads and help and cannot seem to get the answer I need. Can someone help please? |
