Close Money. Open Money again by right-clicking the launch icon.
See if you can succeed that way.

my password which I enter, then it seems like it is trying to convert the
file. The I get a message that the program has stopped working and it tries
to restart then the program closes

So, then I went to Staples. They had NO versions of Microsoft Money. I was
told they had just sent them all back. Is there a problem or recall with

I have just purchased a new machine which has Vista on it. My old machine was
XP. I backed up my Money file and restored in back into My Document. When I
reinstalled the Money 2004 I could not open the old data file. Any ideas?
